A Business Litigation Attorney with 4-8 years' experience is needed for a hybrid position in Austin, TX. This skilled attorney will manage all aspects of complex litigation cases, including trials, mediation, and appeals, with a focus on achieving outstanding client outcomes.

Business Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of litigation cases, from pre-trial discovery through trial and appeal (with a focus on efficiency and achieving client goals)
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop winning case strategies
- Draft and argue persuasive motions, briefs, and other legal documents
- Prepare and depose witnesses effectively
- Represent clients confidently in court hearings and trials (with a focus on achieving outstanding results)
- Negotiate favorable settlements on behalf of clients
- Collaborate effectively with partners, associates, and paralegals
- Stay current on legal developments and best practices
- Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
- Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal statutes and applicable laws
- Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs
- Get appropriate documents prepared, such as motions, pleadings, notices, and discovery requests and responses
Business Litigation Attorney Qualifications:
- 4-8 years' substantive complex business litigation experience as an attorney in a law practice.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school (top 100 USNWR ranking required).
- State Bar of Texas admission required.*
- Persuasive writing skills and verbal communication skills are critical, along with time management and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience representing clients in trials, mediation, and arbitration.
- Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent oral advocacy skills with courtroom experience.
- Team player with a strong work ethic and a dedication to client service.
